Archstone-Smith (NYSE: ASN), a leader in apartment investment and operations,
hired Spieker Stratmore Commercial as its exclusive
representative to achieve the following results in the relocation of
its Northern California executive offices:
- Move from
Hayward to a more central location in the South Bay
- Find the right
location and facilitate a move-in in less than two months
Result:
SSC implemented the following plan to accomplish the above objectives:
- Performed
a zip code analysis and evaluated the various locations of Archstone’s
apartment holdings to find three spaces in Santa Clara that suited
the Company's location criteria.
- Negotiated
a total package that included a rate that is a new market low rate,
tenant improvements, and free rent to offset moving costs.
