  • Reduce power costs due to YesVideo’s significant HVAC consumption
  • Improve efficiency of HVAC in production cities
  • Increase YesVideo’s square footage without increasing current monthly payment
  • Complete the relocation with no impact to YesVideo’s Profit & Loss Statement
Result:
In order to accomplish the above challenges SSC implemented the following plan:
  • Conducted an extensive market search throughout Santa Clara, where power costs are typically 30% lower than those in the surrounding area
  • Directed inspections of the building’s HVAC systems, electrical distribution and roof after locating the ideal building
  • Negotiated a rental rate 25% lower than the existing landlord’s renewal proposal (and 50% less than its current lease) with enough free rent to offset YesVideo’s relocation and set up costs
